20th Annual Spring Ball

The Spring Ball is a fun-filled night enjoyed by all. Above, Bob Smith and Melissa Surace, job coach, show off their style.

Over 575 people attended Westchester Arc’s 20th annual Spring Ball, held on May 4th at the Westchester Marriott.

The ladies were bejeweled and in evening gowns, while the men modeled tuxedoes and designer suits.

“This is the best Spring Ball yet!” exclaimed Paul G.

“I’m so glad to be here. Wouldn’t miss it. I even got a manicure,” added
Janet S.

Sean D., Mary Beth W., Jeffrey K. and staffer Kristy Fiorentino shake, shake, shake it.

“Tonight is about having fun. And it looks like everyone sure is,” commented James M.

After a multi-course dinner, guests caught up with friends, posed for photos and danced to the sounds of “Last Exit.”

A sentimental Dave Gasparri, director of recreational services, thanked attendees for their continued support. “Tonight we celebrate 20 years of the Spring Ball, 20 years of great friendships and wonderful memories,” he said.

Westchester Arc’s board of directors, recreation committee and recreation department sponsored the event.

James M., Jessica M. and Denise S. twist and shout.
